JOYOUS REUNION: EMI's Very Inspiring People!

We've experienced a taste of eternity!

EMI's October 2-4 HOMECOMING CELEBRATION of VIP's -- Very Inspiring People -- was jam packed with joy. Reunion and fellowship in Christ are so sweet!

Over 30 years ago, when 30 lay people from a local Cincinnati church committed to a 2 year journey of seeking God and His truth and wholeness, little did they know that it would grow into this international ministry touching people in all 50 states and at least 70 nations!

Sharing a passion for experiencing Jesus' truth and grace sets eternity in motion. I think it has something to do with getting past the surface...walking side-by-side together with Jesus into deep hearts in a journey toward wholeness [teleios in Greek].

What a joy to see faces we've missed as folks took our courses and then moved on in life!

Lois Dunn w/ Larry & Ellen Chrouch (Florida)

BANQUET program Friday evening included honoring founder Dr. Gary Sweeten with a bunch of fun old photos. [Sorry I couldn't get the music to load up.]

A formal Proclamation and presentation to Gary from our Mayor's Office made October 2, 2009 -- Dr. Gary Sweeten Day -- in Cincinnati. Lots of "whereas + whereas" acknowledgements! That was a fun surprise!

Dave and Sadell and I were especially happy to honor over 40 (in attendance)
VIP's who donated, volunteered, taught & facilitated for EMI for over 20 years. Each received an engraved crystal globe -- a small shiney token for the very BIG level of gratitude we feel!

This is how God took this ministry all over the globe...faithful saints!!

COMMEMORATIVE YEARBOOK
Our staff put together a terrific EMI "Yearbook" with over 55 full color pages of honorees, teachers, international leaders, testimonials and more -- celebrating EMI's past, present and future. It is still available for only $10. To get your copy, call Karen at EMI: 513-742-1100.

SATURDAY's TASTE OF EMI:
We offered an opportunity for guests to sample 2-4 hour versions of some of our newer courses and a few "golden oldies":
TrustBuilding
(Listening in a new video format), Crazy Fish, Confronting Conflict, Guiding Small Groups, Renewing the Mind, and Freeing the Family.

Fellowship over food is typically heavenly!
The day was topped off by an evening of worship, thanksgiving and candlelight prayer.

SUNDAY WORSHIP:
What a precious day to go back to where it all started, College Hill Presbyterian Church, to worship together, give thanks to this dynamic congregation, and to honor one another.

If God had one signficant message through this weekend, it was a reminder of His faithfulness through thick and thin.
He is truly able to accomplish more than we can think or imagine. (Ephesians 3:20).

So imagine away!!!

In celebration of all He is!
